Why Choose the Trixie Baza Cat Scratching Tree?

Cats naturally love scratching, grooming, exploring and finding comfortable places to rest.

The Trixie Baza Cat Scratching Tree combines these everyday activities in one convenient piece of cat furniture, helping create an engaging and comfortable indoor environment.

Built-In Grooming Brush for Everyday Comfort

One of the most exciting features of the Trixie Baza is its integrated arched grooming brush.

Cats often enjoy rubbing against furniture and other objects as part of their natural daily behaviour.

The curved brush allows your feline companion to enjoy this instinctive activity while its bristles gently massage the skin and help remove loose hairs.

This feature is especially useful during shedding periods, when cats may benefit from additional coat care.

The brush encourages independent grooming activity, although it should complement rather than replace regular brushing.

Durable Sisal Posts for Natural Scratching

Scratching is an essential part of your cat's everyday routine.

Cats naturally scratch to maintain their claws, stretch their muscles and mark their territory.

The Trixie Baza features two sturdy 9cm-diameter scratching posts wrapped in 6mm sisal rope, providing textured surfaces for your cat to express these instincts.

Offering dedicated scratching areas may also help redirect unwanted scratching away from sofas, carpets and other household items.

Cosy Elevated Hammock for Relaxation

Every cat deserves a comfortable place to rest after a busy day of playing and exploring.

The Trixie Baza features an elevated hammock covered in luxurious long-haired plush, providing a soft and inviting resting area.

The suspended hammock offers a comfortable place for cats who enjoy curling up in supportive, cosy sleeping spaces.

Its raised position also allows your feline companion to relax while observing their surroundings.

Interactive Play & Mental Enrichment

Alongside the grooming brush and scratching posts, the Trixie Baza includes a dangling plush toy.

This playful accessory encourages your cat to bat, reach and paw at the toy, providing opportunities for enjoyable activity.

The combination of scratching surfaces, grooming features and playful movement helps make the Baza an entertaining addition to your cat's daily routine.

Stylish & Space-Saving Design

Unlike larger cat trees that require significant floor space, the Trixie Baza features a compact construction.

With a 41 × 41cm base and 50cm height, it fits comfortably into living rooms, bedrooms and dedicated cat areas.

Its plush grey covering creates an elegant appearance that complements different interior styles.

Whether your cat enjoys rubbing against the grooming brush, scratching their claws or curling up in the soft elevated hammock, the Trixie Baza provides a wonderful combination of comfort, entertainment and practicality.

Installation & Care Recommendations

To keep your Trixie Baza Cat Scratching Tree in excellent condition:

• Assemble the scratching tree carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions.

• Place it on a flat, stable indoor surface.

• Ensure both scratching posts and the hammock are securely attached before use.

• Regularly check and tighten connecting components where necessary.

• Remove accumulated loose fur from the grooming brush.

• Clean the brush gently when required and allow it to dry thoroughly before reuse.

• Regularly remove cat hair and debris from the plush surfaces.

• Inspect the sisal scratching posts for excessive wear or loose fibres.

• Check the dangling toy regularly for damage.

• Supervise play if your cat tends to chew strings or attached toys.

• Encourage your cat to explore the grooming arch naturally without forcing interaction.

• Ensure the hammock and overall structure are appropriate for your cat's size, weight and activity level.

Important: The manufacturer does not specify a universal maximum weight capacity for this model. For particularly large, heavy or highly active cats, consider Trixie's dedicated XXL scratching tree range.
